JOCELYN: Hey y’all! On today’s podcast, we’re going to share some of our favorite online business tools.
SHANE: Welcome to the Flipped Lifestyle Podcast where life always comes before work. We are your hosts, Shane and Jocelyn Sams. Join us each week as we teach you how to flip your lifestyle upside down by selling stuff online. Are you ready for something different? All right, let’s get started.
Hey guys! Welcome back to the Flipped Lifestyle Podcast. I am Shane and Jocelyn is right here beside me.
JOCELYN: Hey guys!
SHANE: We just want to throw out a quick disclaimer before we get started here. If you hear a little noise in the background, that’s our dryer. We’re doing laundry right now. Our laundry room is right beside the office space that we use. Jocelyn has to be at Isaac’s school here in an hour or so, so she had to dry some clothes. The dryer is rolling.
JOCELYN: We’re keeping it real for y’all.
SHANE: Yeah, we’re keeping it real. We are doing our laundry while recording this podcast. Before we get into our topic today, we wanted to do a new segment we’ve been doing on the last couple of podcasts. We’ve had a lot of reviews on iTunes of our podcasts and we really appreciate everyone going there and telling us what you think about our show.
Every episode from now on in the podcast, we are going to read one of these reviews that someone has left for us on iTunes. If you would like to get your review read, all you have to do is go to iTunes and leave us a review. Each week, we’re going to choose one of those and read it on the air.
We will also be happy to share your URL of your website and your name. If you would like to get your website on the Flipped Lifestyle Podcast as well, just leave a review on iTunes and then shoot us an email with the subject that says, “I left an iTunes review.” Send that to shaneandjocelyn@flippedlifestyle.com. In that way, when we share your review, we can also share your content and your website, all right?
Today… hold on, I almost forgot to read the review. Jocelyn, cue that up.
JOCELYN: Okay. Today’s iTunes review is from Rob and Rob, I don’t know how to say your last name so I’m just going to say Rob G. Rob says, “I first heard about the Podcast on Smart Passive Income and if you’re a guest with Pat Flynn, you’re obviously doing something really right. When I heard their 11-cent story, it about brought tears to my eyes because they’re real and inspire me to believe that I can do it too. Just click subscribe and listen for yourself.” Thanks so much Rob!
SHANE: Those rankings are really important, too, for us because they help other people find our podcast. iTunes kind of weighs those heavily in their rankings. So make sure you head over to iTunes and leave us a review and we will read yours hopefully someday on the podcast.
All right, today we’re going to talk about something that we’ve been meaning to get into a podcast for awhile but we’ve had a lot of other questions and topics that we had to get to first. But, we want to share our top tools that we use every single day in our business. Jocelyn and I are really big on tools – online tools that we purchase or that we find for free online because anything we can do to save time or make our life easier, we are definitely going to jump on that.
Technology today is so incredible. I mean, almost anything that you do in your online business or in selling digital products can be automated or you can at least reduce the amount of time you spend on that task greatly if you have the right tools available. We have four, five tools that we use every single day for every single project that we work on, and we thought it will be a good idea to share them with you today.
The first tool is a tool called Canva. This is Jocelyn’s favorite thing on the planet so I’m going to let her talk about canva.com.
JOCELYN: Yeah, this is my online BFF right now. I love Canva. It is such a cool and easy thing to use. Canva is basically a website and it is for graphic design projects. What I love about Canva is that you don’t have to be good at graphic design, which is a good thing because it’s really not my strong point, but they have tons of templates that you can use. You can just pick your picture, drag it in there, replace the picture that they already have. You can change the text. You can change the font.
But they show you like a placement of what they recommend and you can always change that around, or you can start completely from scratch if you’re really talented like that and you just want to have a total blank slide, you can do that too. But I love to use their templates. It’s such a time saver for me.
I go in and I make a picture for pretty much every blog post that we do, any type of product that we do, like our Couple’s Goal Setting Guide, I made that cover in Canva. I mean, a lot of the art that you see on Flipped Lifestyle is made using Canva.
In a perfect world, we would all have graphic designers who design all of our stuff for us and we wouldn’t have to make our own pictures, but I know a lot of you guys are just starting out and you need something that is free and easy to use. As long as you use your own pictures, Canva is totally free. If you buy their pictures, I think they cost like $1 each.
For me, I do buy a lot of Canva pictures just because it saves me time. I don’t have to go out scouring the internet for a very specific picture, yet they have a good selection of pictures that you can use and so they’re very inexpensive. For just $1, you can get on there and quickly make a picture of whatever it is that you’re wanting to look for.
You can change the colors using Hex codes. If you have a website that has a very specific color scheme like all of ours do, you can go on there and we actually use a tool in Google, it’s called…
SHANE: What is that thing called?
JOCELYN: I think it’s called Eye Dropper.
SHANE: Which is my favorite tool almost, which I’m not going to talk about today, but I’m totally color blind like I legit have no clue what colors look like. This thing is like my life saver because Jocelyn gets mad at me because when I try to color things like blue things end up purple and red things end up green. It’s not good.
JOCELYN: Yeah. Shane and color is not a good idea.
SHANE: Not a good idea.
JOCELYN: I love the Eye Dropper tool because he doesn’t have to say, “Does this look right? Is this blue?” And I’m like, “No, that’s purple.”
SHANE: I don’t bother her anymore. That’s what she’s trying to say.
JOCELYN: Well, I don’t know if I would agree with that. Anyway…
SHANE: I set up myself for that one.
JOCELYN: If you use Google Chrome, you can go to the Chrome extensions, I think they’re called, and just look for the Eye Dropper tool and it will just add right into Chrome. If you don’t use Chrome, there are other Eye Dropper tools that you can download and they’re fantastic. If you have a specific color scheme on your website, I like to keep everything really consistent so if you’d look at most of the artwork that we do, like on Flipped Lifestyle, you’ll see that all of it is of a consistent color scheme with our website.
SHANE: If you want to see some examples of… I am terrible at website… like I’m so bad at designing graphics, like Jocelyn used to not let me design graphics like even for my own websites like she would just be like, “Yeah, that looks terrible. I’m going to…”
JOCELYN: And I still have to approve them.
SHANE: She still has to approve them. But now, at least I get to try to play with the design because canva.com is literally so easy. Even a dumb old football coach from Kentucky can get on that and make a picture look pretty good. But if you want to see some examples of Canva art that we have created, just look at any of our blog posts.
We usually try to put an image in there somewhere, usually around the mid-post or the in post where something we have created with Canva. But if you want to see a direct example, just go to flippedlifestyle.com and scroll down and over on the right, we have two pieces of Canva art that will appear. One is for our Flipped Lifestyle e-course and I think the other one is for the – is it for the free videos?
JOCELYN: Yeah. It’s for six free e-training, e-course videos. If you’ve not watched those yet, this will be a good opportunity.
SHANE: Right, exactly. Those things are actually, Jocelyn made those in legit like five minutes. I mean, it is so much faster than using Photoshop or anything else, and it just takes basically all the frustration, man, out of graphic design. You can really make awesome pictures for, like, Pinterest and getting things shared on Facebook and stuff with canva.com. That’s another it does too, Jocelyn is it has templates for the sizes.
So instead of like looking up of how big is a Facebook ad, or how big is a Twitter post, or how big is Instagram, you know I’m saying? It just goes on and you can click all the templates and it’ll go ahead and set the size for you. So you don’t need to have to do that. So, canva.com is our first tool that we use and we’ve legit use that every single day in our business.
All right, the second tool is one of my favorites. I’ve been using this for a while. Back in high school, I was the producer of our high school, like, a news program. I used to love, man, getting in there and editing those news shows, and just like kind of producing everything and kind of tying all the stories together.
I’ve always had the love for like video editing and audio editing. Even in my football career, coaching career, I love making highlight videos and doing things like that. I’ve always been in, like, video editing tools. The best video editing tool that I’ve ever found is called Camtasia.
This software, I think, it’s Camtasia Studio 8 is the full name of the software. This is an awesome program that lets you just like in a very easy and simple interface, edit video and you can add transitions. You can go in and add graphics, pictures. You can even put little callouts.
If you ever watch YouTube videos where you see like little annotations pop up like, “Click here to go see this.” or an arrow pointing at something that you were going to call attention to in the video, Camtasia makes it super easy to do that.
I’ve used a lot of different things. I‘ve used like Pinnacle and all kinds of software designed specifically for breaking down film for football coaches and Camtasia, by far, is the easiest thing that I’ve ever used. It’s actually available for PC and Mac.
That’s really cool because we just transitioned over to MacBook Pros. It was awesome to be able to just put Camtasia right back on this computer and it looks exactly like the PC version almost, so simple to transition like that.
Camtasia also lets you do really, really good screen recordings. If you’ve ever looked around flippedlifestyle.com or you’ve looked at our free video course on how to create a digital product, you’ll see that we can film our screen. We can show us down in the corner if you ever saw those videos like on YouTube and stuff, we do all that with Camtasia.
It’s really push-button simple. You basically turn on the screen recorder, you click the little button if you want to show yourself on the webcam, and it just records any part of the screen you want. You can record the full screen. You can go through and you can select just parts of the screen.
I have a program that I use during webinars for football coaches where I can draw football plays very easily. But it only takes up a very small piece of real estate on our computer screen, so what I do is I just set the Camtasia box to that specific area and I can only record that when I’m recording the screen, and then I can move things around and do things like that. But Camtasia is super easy to use. It is by far my favorite video editor and screen recorder out there.
JOCELYN: It’s pretty easy to use. I mean, I know pretty much very little about recording video and even I can get on there and do a quick screen capture video. It’s very short-learning curve. It’s just a good, easy program to use.
SHANE: They actually have a free trial, too, so you can it out for free and it’s like a full-blown trial version. When we first started using Camtasia, I probably made 10 videos for a website or a product that I made for football coaches before we even paid for it. It’s a really good product and they have an awesome free trial for that product. If you want to go to flippedlifestyle.com/podcast8, is this podcast 8, is that where we are? Yeah, podcast 8.
I’m going to go and show you a quick video how to Camtasia to record your screen just so you can see kind of the power of it and what it’s used for, and how simple it is to do a screen recording. If you’re thinking about a digital product where you need to show someone how to do something, like, maybe use Excel and create formulas, or maybe to navigate around a certain tool that you use on the internet, then head over to flippedlifestyle.com/podcast8 and you can check out my little tutorial on how to do an awesome screen recording with Camtasia. That will be good for a PC or a Mac.
I’ll try to show both but I’m not really using the PC anymore, so I’ll probably just have the Mac tutorial, but I’ll also go on YouTube or something else, see if I can find one where the PC interface is on there so you can kind of check out both of them. If you’re going to get into any kind of onscreen recording or video editing, I highly recommend Camtasia.
JOCELYN: Alright, the next tool that we want to discuss is Dropbox. I love Dropbox. It is pretty much one of the things that I could not live without in my life.
SHANE: Kids, Shane, Tempur-Pedic mattress, Dropbox — that’s pretty much Jocelyn.
JOCELYN: I’m not sure that’s the order I’d put those in.
SHANE: Right. Dropbox, Shane.
JOCELYN: Just kidding. Okay, so really though, I really do love Dropbox.
SHANE: We got a lot of caffeine this morning so we’re pretty jacked up right now. We’re a little giggly.
JOCELYN: It is an awesome piece of, what would you call it, software? I don’t know if it’s software but…
SHANE: Cloud storage I think would be the official terminology for that… maybe.
JOCELYN: Yeah. It is great. Pretty much you just start a Dropbox account. It’s actually free for the first, I think, it’s maybe 5GB?
SHANE: Yeah. I mean, it changes so often it could be anywhere from 5 to 20.
JOCELYN: They do give you some free space so you can try it out before you commit to buying it, but you can save pretty much any file on there and access it from any other computer or you can access it from your phone. Pretty much anything that’s connected to the internet, you can access your Dropbox files with.
It’s awesome for sharing, like, we have virtual assistants that help us do different tasks in our business, and so if we need to share a file with them, we just drop it in Dropbox. We send them the sharing link to that particular folder, and they’re able to get in there and see everything that they need to have pretty much in real time.
SHANE: While it protects our other files. They can only see the files we share with them.
JOCELYN: Right. That is pretty awesome. We also share folders with each other. If we’re working on a project collaboratively, we will share that file on Dropbox and whatever I’m doing, Shane can see what I’m doing and I can see what he has saved. That is really cool. But my very favorite thing about Dropbox is their phone app.
If you put the Dropbox app on your phone, you can go on to the settings and set it up to automatically upload any pictures or video that you take on your phone. I don’t know about you, but for us, we really don’t carry a camera anymore just because we always have our phones and we always forget a camera.
SHANE: Do they still make cameras?
JOCELYN: Of course.
SHANE: I think that… yeah. Okay, I didn’t know. I just don’t have one on my hand.
JOCELYN: Yeah. I mean, of course, like a DSLR or something. It’s a lot better quality than the phone pictures, but just for everyday use, I mean, you can’t beat the convenience of your phone. Our phones are pretty much our lifeline. Pretty much every picture that we have of our children are on our phones. If we didn’t have Dropbox and something happened to one of our phones, maybe we lost it, it got stolen, it got wet, which we actually have waterproof phones, the waterproof Samsung Galaxy S5.
SHANE: The reason we do that is because I tend to break things and drop things, and destroy things. I’ve done that before and lost a lot of pictures so we went and got a waterproof.
JOCELYN: Yeah, and for me like, pictures and videos are things that you can never get back. I mean, if you ever lose those things of your family, you’re not going to be able to get your son’s first day of school picture back ever. Dropbox is just an absolute necessity for me. I would never ever consider life without it. They actually just changed and you can now get a terabyte o data. I’m not exactly sure of the cost now but it is pretty cost-effective.
SHANE: It’s near $100 a year.
JOCELYN: Something like that. I’m not really sure.
SHANE: And we don’t get any affiliate for that like, if you click on our link to Dropbox on the show or anything, we don’t get money for that. We get storage, I think that way, like if you click on the link but we don’t get money for it.
JOCELYN: If you refer people to Dropbox then you can also get extra free storage, but I honestly, even if I didn’t get any space at all, I would recommend Dropbox. It is just fantastic. I love it and I’m just so glad that we have it.
SHANE: I mean, before we had like the cloud storage stuff and the phones that automatically did this in Dropbox, Jocelyn would obsess over backing up her phone, then she would burn DVDs and then she would take those DVDs and put them in a fireproof safe and…
JOCELYN: And I made multiple copies of DVDs.
SHANE: And then she made extra DVDs and took them to her mom’s house. So, this was a major stressful issue and Dropbox pretty much alleviated all that. If you really freak out about losing data, you got to go Dropbox. There are other storage solutions out there like Google drive. We actually have a Google drive account too.
We actually pay for that, but it’s for totally different reasons because we can create a lot of documents in the Google documents — sweet. We do use Google drive a little bit but Dropbox is better. It just works better. It’s seamless and we’ve never had a problem with Dropbox sharing files or anything.
JOCELYN: No, I don’t think we ever had any issues. Some people do the external hard drive thing. Some people have a lot of success with that. We actually had one…
SHANE: It broke.
JOCELYN: And it failed.
SHANE: Yeah.
JOCELYN: So don’t count on external hard drive. If you have pictures and stuff online, I would back them up immediately because you just never know. Shane actually kicked ours over accidentally.
SHANE: I am the always one that breaks things.
JOCELYN: Yeah and we lost all of our files and thankfully I had been…
SHANE: Backing them up.
JOCELYN: …obsessive-compulsive enough to back them up.
SHANE: The cool thing about cloud storage too like Dropbox, is that Dropbox backs it up.
Dropbox has data centers all over the place. Your stuff is stored in 10 different places and it’s secure and safe, and there’s nothing wrong with it. It’s a huge company. They have been around for awhile and they’re not going anywhere. We really, really recommend Dropbox for your storage needs.
Alright, our fourth tool that we cannot live without in our online business and this one is strictly business-related is LeadPages. We just discovered LeadPages a couple of months ago. We went out to San Diego for an event with Chris Ducker and Pat Flynn, and we learned a little more about LeadPages. We talked to some other entrepreneurs who were having great success with LeadPages.
What LeadPages does, LeadPages lets you create sales pages or one-off web pages, very quickly, template driven. LeadPages collects a ton of data from all their users on what sales pages are working the best. What is getting the most clicks? What is converting visitors to your website in the sales of your product best? What buttons are working best to click? How are we getting more emails for your email list?
When we started using LeadPages, we saw huge increases and things like opt-in. We would have an opt-in box on a web page that says, “Hi! Here’s a free e-book for your email.” or whatever. You know how people do that. We were getting probably around maybe less than 10% conversion on stuff like that and I remember one of the first things I did was, I created a lead box and changed it over one of those opt-ins. That opt-in went from, 9% or 8% or something to almost 30%, it was crazy how much better it converted.
We used to make all of our own sales pages on blog posts or pages in our WordPress settings. We would have to sit there for hours and like, “What am I going to say? How am I going to title it? How do I get this picture to line up? How do I get this button to link where they can pay me and buy my product?” The first day we were on LeadPages, I think we’ve created like five pages and…
JOCELYN: Yeah. It’s so easy.
SHANE: And it was crazy, yeah.
JOCELYN: All of the copy is already written for you. You just have to change it to make sense for your product. It just saves so much time. I mean, you don’t have to sit there and wonder, “Does this convert? Is this a good language to use?” Someone’s already done all that work for you. You just have to make it relevant to your product.
SHANE: It’s so easy to put the videos of the best. You just legit put in an embed code, it’s over. You don’t have to set up a plug in on your WordPress. You can just put that in there and you can link it to your website. You put LeadPages in your dashboard and then you just basically, you can make the LeadPage. It can say whatever.leadpages.net.thisisourproduct. You can just make as famous as flippedlifestyle.com/thisisourproduct and it redirects directly to that LeadPage.
It is just the greatest tool. We use it for webinars. Jocelyn has a webinar pretty much, you know, every week or two for her audience. I’ve done a couple. I am not doing them as often because coaches are in the middle of the season and they are so focused on what they’re doing right now. I usually don’t really do a whole lot of stuff like that during the football season. I do that in the offseason. The webinars are so easy to set up. You just put the video in. You can put a chat box in and boom! You’re done. You’re ready to host a webinar right through LeadPages without even having to worry about it.
The time that it saves us, I just cannot express enough how much time it saves us. All the free opt-ins that you see on our podcast, you know, we try to give away some kind of free video or free tool, whatever thing we do, all that is created with LeadPages. The pop-ups that come up when you say, “Yes, I want to watch this video.” You get access to it through the LeadPages and all of our sales pages.
We’ve even started doing one of those things… I started a product and I didn’t really have a website for it back in the summer. I just created a LeadPage for it and took the money and sent them where they needed to go right in LeadPages. That’s when we realize that, “Man, LeadPages makes it possible to create and sell and market a digital product.” You don’t even have to have a website anymore. You can just literally create a LeadPage.
Once you take payment, send them to another LeadPage that hosts like your seven video e-course. And it’s done. It’s over, or it links to another LeadPage where it download your e-book and it’s over. You don’t even have to have a website anymore to create new products or to sell anything online. LeadPages is probably the most powerful online marketing tool. I would say next to Aweber. We love Aweber too. What do you think Jocelyn?
JOCELYN: Yeah. I mean, LeadPages has just really changed our business for the better.
SHANE: It’s unbelievable man.
JOCELYN: We love it. It’s just so easy to use. It just takes out the guesswork out of making nice sales pages.
SHANE: Which is stressful, you know. You get this product created and then you know how ideas… you’ve got all these things but you’re like, “Oh no. Now how am I going to convince someone to purchase this? How am I going to convince them it’s cool? How am I going to show them testimonials?” Bam! LeadPages does it all for you and it just takes all the stress out of it.
Coming back to Aweber, Aweber is our email collection method of choice. We love Aweber. It’s so flawless, great delivery rates, so easy to collect emails and send things out. Aweber just integrates so flawlessly with LeadPages like you can go in and create opt-ins, lead boxes, pages that collect emails. With Aweber, you can like, seriously just click one button and it will connect to your LeadPage.
If you’re using Aweber or I think MailChimp and all the major email collection services work with LeadPages flawlessly. It’s just an awesome tool. Not only to sell things and to market products but it’s awesome for email collection. It’s going to improve your collection rates a hundredfold and LeadPages will save you a ton of time.
We actually have a video that we use in one of our free e-course where we show people how to set up a LeadPage. If you’ll go to flippedlifestyle.com/podcast 8, I’m going to go ahead and put that video in this actual podcast’s show notes, one the show notes page so you can just watch that. You don’t have to actually even go in to get the six videos. I’ll put that free. That won’t even be an opt-in. There will just be a link there if you kind of want to watch the rest of the videos in the series.
I want you to see how quickly Jocelyn set up a sales page for one of her best selling products on LeadPages in just a few minutes. Go to flippedlifestyle.com/podcast8 and we will have the link to that video and also a tutorial on how to use the Camtasia screen recorder feature.
JOCELYN: We’re going to move into our Can’t Miss Moments segment now. This is one of our favorite things. We always talk about things that we might not have been able to do when we were still working regular jobs and just things that we are so excited that we are able to do that we might not have been able to do in the past.
For me, I’m actually heading out in a few minutes to my son’s school. They’re doing a special run. It’s like a fundraiser for their school and people can come and just watch them. He’s so excited that I’m coming to his school today. I told him earlier when I dropped him off, you know, that, “I’m going to be able to come to your school and watch you do this run.”
He’s so happy about that and I can’t wait to see a smile on his face when I get there and that’s something that I never would have been able to do when I was working a regular job.
SHANE: Yeah. We love doing stuff like that for schools because I remember one time I tried to go to Isaac’s school for like a little party when he was in preschool and like, I almost didn’t get to do it because you know, I was at work myself and I didn’t think I was going to be able to work it out. It’s just awesome to have the freedom to be like, you know what, something is going on. We’re not scheduling anything at that time. We’re going.
My Can’t Miss Moment is kind of an awesome thing that I got to do last week. Last week, about 10:15 PM on a Tuesday night, I got a text from my pastor at church. He said, “Hey man, you want to go to a conference tomorrow? You’re the only person I know that can just drop everything and go.” At first, I was like, “Yes, yes I am.” That’s what I thought to myself when he said that. But we got to go.
Basically, there was a group of men from my church heading down to South Carolina to New Spring Church to go to this thing called Double 14. It was an awesome conference, just a very great event where a lot of pastors and church members from all over the country, and all over the world – I think there were people there from like nine countries or something like that – came to this church to talk about how to double your church membership, double your participation, double your volunteers.
It was just an awesome two-day event, man. I just got up and said, I looked over to Jocelyn and I was like, “Is it okay if I go to this?” And she was like, “Why not?” I got all my stuff together that night, got up the next day, jumped on the bus with 10 other guys. We just roll down to South Carolina. I worked on my computer all the way down there so I can get all my work done while I was…
JOCELYN: Nerd.
SHANE: Yeah I’m a nerd. But while I was at the conference, I had to miss one session because Jocelyn and I actually had a consulting call. If you ever want to need any help with your online business, you can find information about our consulting service over at flippedlifestyle.com/talktous. You can check that out if you want maybe get a little extra help on your business – one on one time with me and Jocelyn.
I did a consulting call basically on my phone because it was on Google Hangouts. I just kind of found a quiet room at the church and took care of that with Jocelyn, and we helped someone take their business to the next level. Then I, just for two days, man, I just got to enjoy the conference. We stayed at this lake house and about 7 AM I got up, got me a cup of coffee, went and sat out of this boat dock and just relaxed and had an awesome time at this church conference.
It was just something I could do out of a drop of a hat. I’ve never experienced that before or had that kind of freedom to just be able to say, “You know what, I’m leaving for three days and I’m going to go and check out this conference.” I can do that because I don’t have to answer to anyone because of our online business.
That’s our Can’t Miss Moments for this week. Online business provides so much freedom. We just really, really, really want you guys to experience some of that, either financial freedom for making extra money online, even for just $500 a month through your online business or maybe even being able to do what we did and quit your job someday.
If you need any help or if you need any direction, head over to flippedlifestyle.com. Connect with us on Twitter @FlippedLS or over on Facebook. Go and like our page and send us messages there. That’s facebook.com/flippedlifestyle. We will be happy to point you in the right direction and help your family find freedom online like ours did through online business.
Don’t forget to go to flippedlifestyle.com/podcast8 as well and check out our two free videos this week – one on screen recording with Camtasia and the second was showing you how to set up LeadPages and how quickly and easily that is possible.
JOCELYN: If you have not left us a review on iTunes, we would really appreciate it if you would do that. Just head on over to iTunes. I think you have to do it form a computer because I had someone the other day trying to do it from a phone. I don’t think that works. But if you…
SHANE: I think they have to do it from iTunes. I don’t think you can leave a review on the web page either. It has to be like in actual iTunes.
JOCELYN: Right. If you would leave us a review, we would appreciate that so very much.
SHANE: Anything else you need, just holler at us and we’ll be glad to get back with you. Until next time, we will catch you all on the flipside.
JOCELYN: See you later. Bye!

Shane & Jocelyn,
Thanks for sharing my review on your episode! I read your email, and I saw the 5-star review rating graphic and thought, “….that looks familiar?” Thanks to you, I’m in the middle of designing a product and offering it online. Thank you for your continued inspiration!

P.S. Jocelyn… my last name is the only known word that rhymes with orange. 😉

Great resources! I’ve never used Leadpages.net (not at the stage yet), but will definitely have a look by coming back here when needed cos it’s something everyone is talking about!
Cheers! Joey

What is the name of the web site mentioned on this podcast that has to do with color palettes. I am horrible at picking colors but ya’ll said this will help me pick the palette easily. Please provide the URL. Thank you!

Patty, I love design-seeds.com. You can hover over the colors to see the hex codes. 🙂
